What Is This?
This is the Balkan Jukebox where the format is, there
is no format. Music spanning from the 60s to the new Millenium is all part of the eclectic Balkan mix! On the air in one form or another since 2001.
I've gone and changed my broadcasting method, choosing to use LAUNCHcast currently. All you need do is click
here to listen anytime - you can even skip over songs you don't like. At least you no longer have to wait for me to run the broadcaster, heh heh. Be prepared for some eclectic weirdness! The downside to this method is I can no longer take requests or otherwise cue a specific song. However, I have been customizing my broadcast to get it to play like the old-style Juke so that oddball stuff Launchcast throws in gets fewer and farther between. Not that my own tastes aren't oddball, but that's another story ;)
Initially, I sought software with which I could broadcast music over the internet to allow the music that inspires my
ThunderCats fan fiction, Signal in the Sky, to be heard. Let's face it, the songs the chapters are named for aren't the usual radio fare.
It wasn't long before I started stuffing the Jukebox with a wide variety of tunes; anything and everything is in the Juke -- rock, pop, 80s, metal, industrial, alternative, novelty - even a smidge of country. Any questions or suggestions can be
